Junior Cryptography & Compliance Consultant (FIPS 140-3) (m/f/d)

Your Skills
- Initial experience in IT Security or Cryptography, ideally in an internship, thesis, or first project role
- Knowledge of IT Security Architecture and interest in Cloud Security (Azure)
- Basic understanding of cryptographic methods and security standards
- Strong analytical skills and motivation to grow into complex areas such as FIPS 140-3 compliance
- Familiarity with Identity & Access Management, Risk Management, or Security Monitoring is a plus
- Interest in topics like SBOM/CBOM, crypto scanners, and module analysis
- Eagerness to learn and collaborate with senior security experts in an international environment

Your Tasks
- Assist in the assessment and documentation of cryptographic modules (incl. initial GAP analysis and scans)
- Support in the evaluation of CBOM scanners and preparation of result summaries
- Contribute to PoCs for scanner solutions and support onboarding into customer products
- Assist in SBOM/CBOM quality reviews and crypto module import checks within codebases
- Support in identifying and inventorying cryptographic modules across infrastructure and applications
- Help maintain documentation, best practices, and how-to guides
- Work closely with senior experts in defining customer crypto standards and compliance processes
