Duration: 4 months with potential extension
Location: 100% remote

Environment
- Classic Jenkins Setup with master node and 2 agent nodes on which the build jobs are executed - build runs are running in docker containers to execute the steps
- External components like Harbor registry and Kubernetes Clusters are self-hosted - in the progress to evaluate/migrate these to managed services

Project
- Monorepo consisting of around 40 packages
- Written in JS/TS and Python
- Using lerna/yarn

Pipeline
- Multibranch-Pipeline based in Jenkins
- Migration to Jenkins on K8s is in preparation
- Hard to understand pipeline (historically) - central Jenkinsfile - tasks are outsources in groovy-Skripts which call gulp-tasks
- Unstable external components like Harbor registry or self-hosted Kubernetes for PR Deployments
- 1.Run is around 40-60 minutes (no cached build artifacts), 2.Run 10-15 minutes at best
