Within this project, technical documents, especially user manuals, are to be created and revised in SCHEMA ST4 by Quanos. Furthermore, an important part of the service is to record internal customer requirements and manage external agencies for document creation.

We are seeking a Technical Editor with SCHEMA ST4 expertise having the skills:

-Knowledge and experience with Schema ST4 (from Quanos) required, ideally experience with the Online Media Designer from ST4, as well as XML documentation software
-Knowledge and experience with SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author (or similar tool), as well as Adobe tools
-Technical background in the form of an engineering degree or at least 5 years of experience as a technical writer in a technical environment
-Basic understanding of XSL, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
-Project management tool such as Jira
-Knowledge of standards and directives concerning power tools and measuring instruments

Main task/activity:

-Creation or revision of operating instructions for power tools and measuring devices in the ST4 editorial system
-Coordination of other externals for the creation of operating instructions

Other tasks and activities:

-Collect data for the creation of user manuals
-Prepare data for briefing external service providers
-Prepare/maintain data and project entries in the ST4 schema
-Quality control in the ST4 schema after delivery of drafts or completion of manuals
-Independent creation or revision of operating instructions for power tools and measuring devices in a structured data model (ST4 editorial system)
