Product Master Data Expert with Focus on ProdS/ProfS
Scope/Tasks
Support the definition and finalization of the Material Master Data concept
Define target structures considering transition architecture (e.g., IT4S and Planisware)
Finalize material types relevant for ProdS/ProfS
Define SAP MDG-M (EDEN) process types and workflows for ProdS/ProfS material types (creation and change scenarios)
Support Finalization variant configuration and version management approach (Level 3) for ProdS/ProfS, including requirements towards material creation and change workflows.
Support Develop Sales Bundle Concept for ProdS/ProfS including requirements towards material creation and change workflows.
Design mapping concepts and workarounds for aligning target structures with legacy systems in collaboration with experts
Primary Skills
Expertise in process modelling of governance workflows
Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Material Master and Product Data Management
Understanding of ProdS/ProfS business models
Familiarity with SAP MDG-M processes and workflow design
Optional: Experience with variant configuration, version management and bundles
Optional: grasp of transition architectures and legacy system integration
Experience Level
SAP Master Data and Logistics consulting
Proven experience in S/4HANA implementations with complex data and architecture scenarios
Experience in hybrid landscapes and transition planning
Certifications (if any)
SAP Certified Application Associate (S/4HANA for Product Management or Logistics)
Optional: SAP Master Data Governance
Optional: TOGAF or enterprise architecture certification
