Senior Security Consultant – Remote (EU-Based)
Start Date: 15 August 2025
Contract Duration: Until 30 April 2026
Location: 100% Remote (EU-based Citizens only, as occasional EU travel possible if needed)

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Security Consultant to lead and shape our organization’s cybersecurity strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take ownership of governance, risk, and compliance, while building a robust security framework to protect our business-critical operations.

What You’ll Do
• Define and execute the organization’s information security strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and ISMS frameworks (ISO 27001).
• Lead risk assessments, audits, and compliance efforts (GDPR, SecNum, etc.).
• Oversee cybersecurity operations: threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Drive security architecture and DevSecOps integration, collaborating with IT and engineering teams.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing cybersecurity team, while promoting a security-first culture.
• Design and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Mandatory Skills
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, including strategic leadership.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Proven expertise with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and risk management.
• Hands-on experience in incident response, threat management, and security architecture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executives and stakeholders.
• A collaborative leader who can inspire teams and drive change.
