Android Developer (m/f/d) – 100% Remote
Location: Remote

We’re a tech-driven team, developing app-based mobility software and smart IoT hardware for the public transport sector. we embrace innovation and agile thinking in everything we do.

What You’ll Do
As an Android Developer, you’ll contribute to the continuous development of our mobile apps for public transport users. You’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers in a fast-moving Agile environment.

Your main responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Android features using Kotlin
• Connect the frontend to backend services (REST APIs, JSON)
• Implement clean app architecture (MVVM, MVI)
• Apply reactive programming (RxJava, RxKotlin, or Coroutines)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Support QA with unit and UI testing
• Help answer technical queries from internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales)

What You Bring
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Android development
• Fluent in Kotlin, with deep knowledge of Android Studio
• Practical experience integrating backend services via REST APIs & JSON
• Proficient in app architecture patterns: MVVM, MVI
• Experience in reactive programming: RxJava, RxKotlin, or Coroutines
• Familiar with Git for version control
• Experience in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
• Bonus: Experience writing unit tests and UI tests
