For a client project, we are looking for a Data Migration & Archiving Specialist (f/m/d) – (GRAU DATA or Optentext or IBM) - ASAP - 6 month - remote

Tasks:
• Plan and execute data migrations from legacy systems to new or transformed archiving solutions.
• Design and implement functional and technical concepts for data migration.
• Apply data archival standards and best practices, including indexing, parameter definition, metadata creation, and selection of suitable file formats for long-term preservation.
• Utilize and configure data migration and quality management tools (including ETL migration schemes) to ensure accurate and reliable migration.

Requirements:
• Recent experience and in-depth technical knowledge of the GRAU DATA, Optentext or IBM archiving solution – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in migrating data from legacy systems or transforming data archiving solutions.
• Strong understanding of data archival standards and practices (e.g., indexing, parameter definition, metadata creation, long-term preservation file formats).
• Proficiency in creating both functional and technical data migration concepts.
• Hands-on experience with data migration and quality management tools, including ETL migration schemes.

Start: 01.09.2025 (or potentially mid August 2025)
Duration: 6 months
Workload: 3–5 days per week
Remote: 100% remote possible
Language: English required (German is beneficial).
