Job Description:

SIMATIC IT MES Developer (SIMATIC IT Production Suite or SIMATIC IT OEE or SIMATIC IT MES)

• 7+ years of experience

• Strong Knowledge in Manufacturing domain

• Strong Knowledge in SIMATIC IT products



Technical/Functional Skills:

• 7+ Years of experience in Manufacturing domain.

• Hands-on experience with implementing and configuring SIMATIC IT Production Suite (OR) SIMATIC IT Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Module (OR) SIMATIC IT MES

• Hands-on experience in the following technologies .Net, C#, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jquery

• Having experience in Mendix & latest Siemens Opcenter products added advantage

• Good knowledge of manufacturing shop floor systems, process & MES/MOM concepts

• Familiarity with core MES functionalities like Production, Quality, Inventory, WIP Tracking, Genealogy, Quality Management, Material Management, and Electronic Work Instructions.

• Need Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation technologies is often required

• Experience in master data setup and configuration.

• Experience in documenting customer requirements

SIMATIC IT MES Developer (SIMATIC IT Production Suite or SIMATIC IT OEE or SIMATIC IT MES)



Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing and configuring the SIMATIC IT Production Suite (OR) SIMATIC IT Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Module (OR) SIMATIC IT MES system to meet specific manufacturing needs

• Integrating the MES with other systems like PLCs, SCADA, ERP, and other automation technologies

• Developing custom solutions, scripts, or reports using relevant technologies like .Net technologies and SQL

• Thoroughly testing the MES system and its integrations before deployment and providing ongoing support.

• Addressing technical issues and providing solutions to ensure the MES operates efficiently.

• Creating and maintaining documentation for the MES system, including configurations, customizations, and user guides

• Working closely with other team members, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, as well as stakeholders in manufacturing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team

• Ability to convince customers for the alternate approach if required MES custom solution.

• Documentation of customer requirements for MES/MOM system

• Technical and functional Documentation

• Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
