For a client project, we are looking for an Mobile Backend Developer (f/m/d) – TypeScript – Node.js – Remote – 8 Months


Responsibilities

Develop domain-specific features within a globally scaled project in the connected-car ecosystem

Design, implement and maintain backend services for mobile applications (Backend-for-Frontend architecture)

Develop and maintain unit and integration tests

Analyze and resolve backend issues in distributed systems

Implement security and authentication mechanisms

Collaborate with international development teams in an agile environment

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Senior Backend Developer, ideally within mobile app connect solutions

Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript

Good knowledge of at least two additional programming languages: Java, Python

Experience with tools and technologies such as Kafka, Streamzilla, EventHub, Redis, NewRelic and Splunk

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architectures

Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience in CI/CD processes, preferably with GitLab Pipelines

Languages: English mandatory; Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian or Montenegrin a strong plus

Duration: 8 months
Workload: 100 % (full-time)
Location: Remote; on-site presence in Zagreb, Croatia (~3 days per month) may be required
