We are looking for a Senior IT Architect / Analyst with strong AI/ML expertise and a focus on sustainable energy optimization in edge computing environments

Work Setup:
• 100% Remote
• Duration: 10.07.2025 – 31.12.2025
• Location: Fully remote (0% onsite required)

Summary:
We need someone who can bridge technical AI/ML development with sustainability goals, optimizing energy use at the edge without compromising performance. A mix of technical depth, system-level architecture thinking, and collaboration skills is essential.

Here's a breakdown of what we are looking for:

Primary Objective:
To design and implement AI/ML algorithms that optimize energy efficiency across large-scale edge computing ecosystems (hardware, software, IoT, networking, and operational processes), supporting a sustainability-focused orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement AI/ML models for:
o Workload scheduling
o Resource allocation
o Load balancing
o Real-time power consumption optimization
• Conduct research on green AI, energy-aware algorithms, and low-power AI models
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sustainability experts, product managers, and engineering teams
• Evaluate market tools/products for AI/data use in sustainability
• Implement edge-based data processing and federated learning to reduce energy-intensive data transfers

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Senior-level IT Architect or Analyst
• Strong experience in AI/ML design and deployment
• Proven knowledge of edge computing ecosystems and sustainability/green IT initiatives
• Ability to work in multi-stakeholder environments (internal + external partners)
• Research-minded with practical implementation skills
