Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop microwave and RF subsystems for high-power applications in kW range.
- Work on frequency ranges typically in the MHz to GHz range, with a focus on impedance matching, power handling, and signal integrity.
- Develop and optimise components such as waveguides, couplers, circulators, resonators, and transmission lines.
- Run electromagnetic simulations (e.g., HFSS, CST Microwave Studio) for thermal, RF, and mechanical optimisation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in microwave engineering or RF systems design.
- Strong background in high-frequency (MHz–GHz) and high-power (kW) RF engineering.
- Hands-on experience with plasma systems, such as plasma etching, plasma heating, ion sources, or plasma-assisted processes.
- Experience with RF matching networks, power supplies, and impedance tuning for plasma loads.
