IT Solution Architect


Tasks:

• Strategic Alignment: Adhere strictly to the company's intern existing IT strategy, policies, and

architectural guidelines throughout the solutioning process.

+ Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and

country-specific teams to analyze, and validate functional and non-functional requirements for

the new webshop platforms.

+ Solution Design & Architecture:

- Design end-to-end IT solution for the webshop replacement in 8 countries,

encompassing front-end, back-end, integration layers (e.g., ERP, payment gateways),

data models, and infrastructure considerations.

+ Propose suitable architectural patterns, technologies, and platforms that meet

scalability, performance, security, and internationalization requirements.

+ Evaluate various vendor solutions, frameworks, and tools, making recommendations

based on technical fit, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment.

+ Ensure designs account for regional specificities, legal compliance, and user

experience variations across the 8 countries.

+ Documentation: Create comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution

designs, data flow diagrams, integration maps, and architectural decision records.

+ Stakeholder Management: Present and articulate complex technical solutions to technical

stakeholders.

+ Technical Leadership & Guidance: Provide technical guidance and oversight during the IT

Demand phase, ensuring clarity of scope and technical feasibility.

+ Risk Assessment: Identify potential technical risks, dependencies, and challenges

associated with the proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.

+ Collaboration: Work closely with internal Enterprise Architects, Security Architects, Data

Architects, and various IT delivery teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to

corporate standards.

+ Cost Estimation (IT Demand Phase): Contribute to initial high-level effort and cost

estimations for the proposed solutions to support business case development.

Requirements:

Must haves:

+ Proven Experience as an IT Solution Architect, with a focus on e-commerce

platforms and webshop solutions.

+ Global Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in architecting solutions for multicountry, multi-language, and multi-currency webshop deployments.

+ E-commerce Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of leading e-commerce platforms

(e.g., Magento, Docebo, Pimpcore, etc) and their architectural nuances.

+ Integration Savvy: Strong understanding of integration patterns and technologies (APIs,

microservices, message queues, ESBs) for connecting webshops with ERP, CRM, PIM,

payment gateways, and logistics systems.

+ Cloud Architecture: Experience with cloud-native architectures and deployment on major

cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

+ Technical Depth: Solid understanding of modern web technologies, front-end frameworks,

databases, and infrastructure components.

+ Security & Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices for e-commerce, data privacy

regulations (e.g., GDPR), and PCI DSS compliance.

+ Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate

complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

+ English Fluency: Professional working proficiency in English is required.


Nice to have:

+ Knowledge of German is a plus

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

+ Relevant architectural certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure

Solutions Architect Expert) is a plus.
